Creating manga is a tradition that has been around in the east since the 12th century in the form of scroll art though the first serialized manga sazae san by michiko hasegawa was published back in 1946.
Since then the art form has evolved uncontrollably in japan and has taken hold in nearly every aspect of the culture.
